Board Care
- For cleaning, wash the board with hot water and a spounge,
- Let it dry on its edge for 3-5 hours

Once a month, apply one ounce of food safe mineral oil using a clean rag on both sides and edges. 20 minutes later, wipe off all of the oil. Avoid using vegetable or olive oil on the board
- Avoid keeping the board near heat sources
- Avoid leaving the board wet or soaking in the water for longer than needed for cleaning.
- Leaving it wet will cause the board to crack, twist, warp or bow.
- Avoid putting hot teapot, pans or other kitchenware on the board. Placing cooked/hot food is fine.
- Avoid placing the board in a microwave or a dishwasher.
