The design and the work difficulty of The Sleeping Shiva cutting board make it very impressive and gorgeous. An in-person look of the board leaves a stronger impression on people than any photo. We use 4 different wood types to make this board. The board is walnut. The main inlay is hard maple. Cherry is around the third eye of Shiva, and padauk is the third eye of Shiva and the eye of the cobra. The inlays are end grain as well. The complexity of the design and the number of inlays make the board truly impressive. The board is also related to the Indian Maha Shivaratri holiday. This board speaks louder than words.
